Italian Dinner Soup

Serves 8

1 green pepper, chopped
1 red pepper, chopped
1 onion, diced
1 celery rib, diced
1 carrot, diced
1 T olive oil  
Sauté until tender

4 C water
2 C chicken broth
28 oz crushed tomatoes
1 t Italian seasoning
½ t garlic powder  
½ t crushed red pepper flakes
¼ t salt
¼ t pepper
Bring to a boil, reduce to simmer, cook for ~40 min more

1 lb cooked chicken or turkey   
1 C uncooked macaroni
Stir in, cook until done, serve.

Sprinkle with Parmesan or mozzarella if desired before serving.
