As owners, we want above all to facilitate the best in quality relationships among our guests and staff. We are here because we enjoy serving people, and do all we can to select and train staff who identify with our primary goal. Our program is set up to help you enjoy yourself and each other, and numerous features of our environment help us toward our goal.

For example, we find that our seclusion fosters the quality relationships we seek. People who are temporarily removed from the strains of contemporary life (just listening to the daily news can be enough to set you on edge!) discover that they enjoy one another much more. Something as simple as not having to deal with physical needs such as meals and scheduling enables people to focus on having a good time. Also, parents find that not having to worry every moment about their children as they play outside is liberating to parent and child alike.

Even the physical environment at Latigo Dude Ranch enhances healthy relationships. No traffic noises, no air conditioners humming all night, no sirens, no air pollution to breathe and strain to see through. Instead, there's the soft breeze in the trees (when was the last time you could hear a gentle breeze blowing through the leaves?), a coyote yipping at the stars, a sunset reflecting off snow-capped peaks across the valley, the crystal clear air that breathes easy and lets you see more stars than you ever imagined. .

In addition, the physical activities here, such as riding horses, hiking, dancing, fishing or camping out seem to clear the system of the toxins of mental and emotional strain.
