The wild parts of the world instill greatness and forge strength. No time at Latigo is that more apparent than our Women of the West Week. For the entire first week of June, we invite women to come to Latigo and be inspired by how the west has shaped the lives of the women who are busy working in it. They'll meet our farrier, Dee, a beautiful friend to Latigo for over three decades now; our vet, Diana, who takes care of our beloved herd; and our nearest and dearest neighbors, the Taussig ladies - three women who've made their home in the heart of the Rockies, and who regularly give their hearts to the land in return for the privilege.
Caitlyn Taussig will bring her guitar up to sing for you. Hannah will host a session of painting on the porch. Lisa will put a smile on your face. The horses are ready, the trails are clear, the food will be spectacular, and the friendships will last for a lifetime.
It's a week packed with the best of our regular activities as well as the special visits from these remarkable women. It's a time to come and be inspired, to get refreshed while taking a break from the busy noise of life, and to find the inner strength which make our Women of the West so special.
